SARS Exhibition

This exhibition consists of four parts:
(1) the 2003 SARS episode, including outbreak, international collaboration to find the cause of SARS, and the heroes,
(2) how Hong Kong scientists took the lead in the identification of the virus causing SARS and the investigation into the cause of the community outbreak,
(3) the immediate and long-term impact and lessons learnt, and
(4) prevention of another SARS outbreak.

Exhibits on display include the faulty set-up of the drainage pipes that led to the outbreak at the Amoy Gardens.
